Yoga for Embodied Resilience with Nicole Marcia (March/April 2018) (no drop-ins or Bonus Passes)

CAD$161.70Purchase required to enroll
Yoga can support us to feel more at home in our bodies and more connected in our relationships,
communities and beyond. This class series provides a space for personal inquiry and illumination for
anyone who would like to tap into their own embodied, resilient beings both on and off the mat.

Each highly interactive session will explore how and why Yoga works, how we integrate what we
experience in practice into our lives in order to thrive and how our bodies and emotions inform one
another.

This trauma-informed class will focus on aspects of personal and social health and will include
discussion, education, reflection and integration through a gentle, all-levels Yoga practice.

Students will learn body-based, self-regulation techniques to support resilience, and a sense of agency in
their bodies and in the world. The practice will emphasize internal experience, choice making and
moving safely together. No hands-on assists or adjustments. Beginners are welcome.
