In this class, you will explore a gentle yin yoga sequence designed to soothe your nervous system and cultivate a sense of focus and ease. Each yin pose is generally held for 2-5 minutes while you mindfully stretch, release, and breathe. Toward the end of class you will be guided through a mindfulness meditation practice, which can be a helpful tool for working with stress and life’s daily challenges.
This slow and therapeutic class is appropriate for all levels of experience or those with physical concerns, as long as you’re comfortable with sitting and laying on the floor.
This class is online, so check with your health practitioner before you start class to ensure it's safe for you to do so. Do not push yourself or do anything that causes pain. You will be able to ask your teacher questions and let them know about injuries before class.

Katie Blecker, RYT-550, offers yoga and meditation as accessible tools for cultivating connection, embodiment, and ease in everyday life. In working personally with multiple injuries and illness, Katie has experienced firsthand how physical yoga postures and movement practices can either help or hinder certain conditions, depending on the approach. Through trial and error, study, and working with diverse populations, she has developed an exploratory and mindful approach to yoga that prioritizes personal agency, curiosity, and self-awareness. Katie facilitates practices of yin, hatha, restorative, chair yoga, and meditation. Her classes generally include lots of props, options and variations, and a sustainable approach to physical practice. Katie offers group classes and private 1:1 sessions.
