Ground your senses with a moving mediation that connects you to your deep wisdom. Tune into your receptivity, listening to breath, body and mind, throughout a heating flow that builds an inner fire. Each class focuses on stabilization and strengthening techniques. This class will close with cooling, calming stretches. Nikki aims to cultivate a sense of integrity within the practice of downward dogs, standing postures, balancing, core work, backbends and more, with modifications for all levels. Beginners are welcome.

This class is online, so check with your health practitioner before you start class to ensure it's safe for you to do so. Do not push yourself or do anything that causes pain. You will be able to ask your teacher questions and let them know about injuries before class.

Nikki’s background in Kinesiology informs her emphasis on alignment, accessibility and injury prevention. Her yoga studies began in Deep Meditation with Nathalie Keiller, then she studied Yin Yoga with Jolene Bayda and Therapeutic Restorative Yoga with Tianne Allen. Nicole also prioritizes the body’s need for dynamic movement; she studied wave theory with Clara Roberts-Oss. Trained in many styles of dance and theatre, she combines creative movement with the wisdom of yoga and mindfulness. Her classes focus on meditation and breath as a tool to release the body’s habitual stress patterns. Nicole encourages developing the awareness to your own unique body’s needs and honoring them.
