Explore a practice of support and ease in this accessible restorative yoga class. Restorative yoga is an effective way to offer our bodies rest and replenishment, and to help regulate our nervous systems so that we can approach our lives from a grounded and connected place. This class is open to all experience levels and will include lots of time and space to relax, relieve stress, and allow our bodies to heal and rebalance. We’ll utilize yoga props or common items you already have at home, such as blankets and pillows for this class. The gentle restorative forms we explore will typically be held for between 5-10 minutes, with options and variations offered for your comfort.
People experiencing health conditions, injury, chronic pain, disrupted sleep, digestive issues, or stress might find restorative yoga to be a helpful and supportive addition to their lives.
This class is online, so check with your health practitioner before you start class to ensure it's safe for you to do so. Do not push yourself or do anything that causes pain. You will be able to ask your teacher questions and let them know about injuries before class.
