Yoga for a Happy Body and a Calm Mind with Alex Hughes IN-PERSON

This class is really more of a physiotherapy and self restoring style of yoga, not the kind that does fancy tricks and makes you over-bendy. We just want to have quiet bodies that don’t bother us every day and quiet minds that don’t make us more stressed than we need to be. Although it’s not a super hard class, we do core work, gently flowing through yoga postures with breath, and finish with some wonderful stretches and self massage goodness. It’s real. It’s nice. It’s for every body. It’s for every level. It’s just yoga for humans.

This class is online, so check with your health practitioner before you start class to ensure it's safe for you to do so. Do not push yourself or do anything that causes pain. You will be able to ask your teacher questions and let them know about injuries before class.

There will be space for a maximum of four people in this class. It will be streamed and recorded for our online Zoom studio at the same time (you do not need to be on camera).

Please follow COVID-19 protocols:

Do not attend class if you feel sick (fever/cough/etc), have traveled outside of the country in the last 14 days, or been in contact with anyone who has COVID-19.

Masks optional but requested. Bring your own if you want one.

Sanitize your hands as soon as you enter the studio and upon leaving.

Only one person in the entranceway is allowed at one time. If someone is in the entranceway when you arrive, please wait at the door until the space clears so you can take your shoes off.

Physical distancing rules apply: maintain six feet from everyone else.

No handshakes or hugs, no physical assists will be offered.

Please bring your own mat and any props you may want to use (Nicole doesn't usually teach with many).

You may of course use the bathroom, surfaces are sanitized before and after class.
