Complimentary Sample: Nourish: Yoga for Body, Mind, and Being with Candice

Join us for a complimentary sample of Candice Baldwin's new class Nourish: Yoga for Body, Mind, and Being which will be offered on Wednesdays at noon. Register at least an hour in advance of this special class; if you cannot attend in real time, you will get access to the recording the next morning for the following three days.


This is a complimentary sample of a class that will be offered every Wednesday from 12-1pm online.

This all levels class begins with a gentle warm up where the emphasis will be on choice making and experiencing the sensations of the body, rather than pushing you to the point of disconnection. These mindful movements release tightness in the hips, spine and breath that can feed the body’s stress response. When the hips and spine are open, the breath opens. And when the breath opens, the connection between mind and body opens. Practicing in that space makes it easier to access feelings of calmness both on and off the mat.

This is followed by a practice designed to create strength and space in the body and the nervous system, supported by breath. Candice weaves in the why behind the practice, encouraging students’ curiosity about how they experience their practice. Class ends with a restorative form tailored to your individual needs. Must be able to get up and down from the ground. Bring water and wear comfortable clothes.



Candice’s natural curiosity about her own healing from injuries and trauma led her to 20+ year yoga practice. This enthusiasm to learn and serve others on their healing journeys lead her to pursue her life as a yoga teacher and yoga therapist, while her African ancestry has made her passionate about calling in the BIPOC community to her classes. She is a 500 RYT, 200hr Himalayan Kriya Yoga teacher, Swing Yoga teacher, as well nearing her completion of her 800hr Yoga Therapy Diploma.
