Fluid Flow: Movement for Strength and Space with Karla (MEMBERS ONLY)


Karla is completing Julie's mentorship program, and we want your feedback! This class is complimentary for members in exchange for a little time and attention to let us know what you think. Register as you normally would at least an hour before class.

Join Karla for a class that blends pilates, yoga and dance-inspired movements, designed to create strength and spaciousness in the body. We will move through slow and fluid sequences, supported by breath, that activate heat, enhance mobility, and nurture your instincts. We invite full body movement, accompanied by a supportive playlist, to encourage flowing, active stretching, and release.

This class suits individuals who already have a movement practice but are keen to shake up their routine. Must be able to get up and down from the ground. Bring a yoga mat, pillow/cushion optional, water and wear comfortable clothes.

This class is online, so check with your health practitioner before you start class to ensure it's safe for you to do so. Do not push yourself or do anything that causes pain. You will be able to ask your teacher questions and let them know about injuries before class.

Karla Gouthro is an empowered embodiment educator blending her training in practices of pilates, yoga, dance and meditation to inform her mindful movement classes - and sharing them from anti-oppression and trauma-aware frameworks. Karla is also a somatic, life design coach and a full spectrum doula supporting individuals and families through moments of transition and transformation. Certifications: 200 YTT, 85 Pre/Post Natal YT, 100 Pilates 200 Meditation TT, Full Spectrum Doula. Styles: Slow Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Pre/Post Natal, Embodied Intimacy Solo or Partner work
