Yoga for a Happy Body and a Calm Mind with Alex (7 classes, May/June 2017)

This class is really more of a physiotherapy and self restoring style of yoga, not the kind the does fancy tricks and makes you over-bendy. We just want to have quiet bodies that don’t bother us every day and quiet minds that don’t make us more stressed than we need to be. Although it’s not a super hard class, we do core work, gently flowing through yoga postures with breath, and finish with some wonderful stretches and self massage goodness. It’s real. It’s nice. It’s for every body. It’s for every level. It’s just yoga for humans.

Mondays, 6:00-7:15pm

7 classes, April 30th-June 18th. No class May 21st.

$119+tax before April 22nd

*Registration for the full class comes with one Bonus Class that may be used before the end of the session for any other class on the schedule that allows drop-ins or to bring a friend to class (space permitting; please enroll online before class). You may make up up to two classes missed within your session (space permitting).

Alex has a bright and loving energy that offers acceptance and welcome to her class. Her life experiences and trainings bring a unique and thoughtful approach to this practice. She is a certified Hatha Yoga Teacher. She is also certified to teach Pilates, Restorative Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Kids Yoga, and The Tensegrity Series. She offers various aspects of multiple styles of yoga into her classes and teachings. Her main focus of all of this work is to open up the space to live with more happiness and freedom.
