Therapeutic Movement, Restorative Stillness with LIndsay Harris (8 classes, Jan-Feb 2019)

This class is recommended for every body. In this class you will experience an individualized therapeutic movement practice with slower movements and lots of modifications and variations offered for each pose. Lots of props are used in this class to get everyone comfortable using them to get the most benefits in each pose. Breathing, restorative poses, and meditation are also a part of this class. Each class we will focus on a new theme (i.e. low back pain, anxiety, balance, etc.). All levels are welcome!

Wednesdays, 10:00-11:15am.

8 classes, January 9th-Feb 27th. $136+tax before January 3rd, $152 after.

*Registration for the full class comes with one Bonus Class that may be used before the end of the session for any other class on the schedule that allows drop-ins or to bring a friend to class (space permitting; please enroll online before class). You may make up two missed classes within your session (space permitting).

Lindsay took her first yoga class in high school, but she didn’t get hooked until a couple of years ago when she noticed how much it positively affected her daily life. She took a 200 hour Hatha yoga teacher training at an ashram in India and then taught yoga for the next several months throughout southeast Asia. In 2017, she started a 1000 hour Yoga Therapy training program, which resolved the low back pain she had been dealing with for the last 6 years. Lindsay is a Colorado native new to Vancouver. Lindsay enjoys being a part of the yoga community wherever she teaches and she is continually inspired by her yoga teachers and students.
