Slow Down, Stretch Out: Yoga FUNdamentals with Khia Beauchesne (8 classes, Jan-Feb 2019)

This all-levels Hatha class series focuses on the fundamentals of alignment and breath in order to feel comfortable in our own bodies in each pose. We will spend our practice in standing, seated, and lying down postures taking the time to allow our breathing to guide our movements, rather than the other way around. Beginners will leave feeling confident and seasoned practitioners and seasoned practitioners will have opportunities to explore greater depths of a pose. We will explore our own bodies and breath as we are. All levels and bodies welcome.



Mondays, 12:00-1:00pm.

8 classes, January 7th-Feb 25th. $128+tax before January 3rd, $144+tax after.

*Registration for the full class comes with one Bonus Class that may be used before the end of the session for any other class on the schedule that allows drop-ins or to bring a friend to class (space permitting; please enroll online before class). You may make up two missed classes within your session (space permitting).

*Please note that if you have enrolled in a class and are not present five minutes before the class, we may give your spot away.

Khia is the Social Media Coordinator, Flow Facilitator, and Community Outreach Leader for Nectar Yoga on Bowen Island. Khia completed the Semperviva Yoga teacher training program and mentors with Andrea Clark and Julia Doty. She has also studied hands-on assisting with Haley Plaa at Ocean and Crow Yoga.
