Yoga to Heal the Nervous System with Nicole Marcia (8 classes, Jan-Feb 2020)
A regular yoga practice can increase flexibility and strength, improve balance, and enhance mental clarity. The techniques practiced in yoga can also strengthen the nervous system and help us to calm down, get grounded, and feel better in our day to day lives.
This series will focus on gentle, all-levels therapeutic movement practice. Students will learn body-based practices, to support nervous system regulation and resilience. The practice will emphasize internal experience, choice making & moving safely together. No hands-on adjustments. Beginners are welcome.
