In this chilled-out all-levels class, we will stretch out our shoulders, backs, and hips, gently strengthen supportive muscles in the body, take deep breaths, slow down, and relax. The point of this class is to feel good, so we’ll sample from a range of different movement practices to ease our creaky joints and get our pep back in our step. We’ll do some standing, seated, and lying down poses with minimal weight bearing on the arms. Pregnant people are welcome as are brand-new beginners and anyone else who wants to take a break and feel good.

This class is online, so check with your health practitioner before you start class to ensure it's safe for you to do so. Do not push yourself or do anything that causes pain. We are not liable for any injuries acquired during this class.

If you have them, please bring two blocks, a strap, a cushion to sit on, a bolster, and any other props you like for Savasana.

Julie Peters (E-RYT 500) is the co-owner of Ocean and Crow Yoga Studio and has been teaching for over a decade. She is trained in Hatha, Restorative, Yin, trauma-sensitive yoga, pre-and post-natal. She offers a gentle pace with lots of modifications so you can get what you need from this class.
