Get deep into your breath and your body with this deeply relaxing Restorative Yin class. We will mix together gentle, supportive Restorative postures with some propped-up Yin postures to gently stretch the hips, the back, the neck, and the legs. This practice can help reduce pain in the body, calm anxiety, and support internal functions like digestion, hormonal balance, and immune support.

Appropriate for a wide range of bodies and experience levels, as long as you can lie down on the floor.

Optional props include bolsters, blankets, blocks, throw pillows, bed pillows, a scarf or eye bag, and a hot water bottle and/or sandbag. We improvise with what we have.

This class is online, so check with your health practitioner before you start class to ensure it's safe for you to do so. Do not push yourself or do anything that causes pain. We are not liable for any injuries acquired during this class.

Julie Peters (E-RYT 500) is the co-owner of Ocean and Crow Yoga Studio and has been teaching for over a decade. She is trained in Hatha, Restorative, Yin, trauma-sensitive yoga, pre-and post-natal. She offers a gentle pace with lots of modifications so you can get what you need from this class.
