In these classes, we work with the lunar phases in real time, exploring practices that reflect the cycling of the moon. Release stress, breathe deeply, build strength and flexibility, and learn how to approach postures like standing, balancing, backbends, and core work. This week's class reflects the energy of a full moon eclipse weekend. We move dynamically (but intentionally) with our breath, showing up to how we feel and letting go of what we don't need. This class involves some physical challenge and playful exploration, but there are always options to modify depending on what you need that day. Each class ends with a deep stretch and a satisfying rest. Expect a little sweat! This is an intermediate class with modifications for pregnancy and some explanations for beginners at a faster pace. Pregnant people welcome with an established Vinyasa practice and the OK from your practitioner.


Optional props: two blocks, a cushion to sit on, a strap, and whatever you like for savasana.

Julie Peters (E-RYT 500) is the co-owner of Ocean and Crow Yoga Studio and has been teaching for over a decade. She is trained in Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Yin, trauma-sensitive yoga, pre-and post-natal.
