In this all-levels hourlong hatha flow class, we focus on the breath as the primary source of movement in the body. We will move with our breath dynamically, exploring a range of yoga postures with options and modifications throughout. This is a nice class if you want to get moving and breathing without too much weight bearing on the hands, though there will be some options for adding challenge for those that want it. Towards the end of class, we will make our way down to the floor for longer held hip stretches, forward folds, and time for reflection.


Optional props: two blocks, a strap, a cushion to sit on, whatever you like for savasana, and a journal and pen if you'd like to write during your reflection.

This class is online, so check with your health practitioner before you start class to ensure it's safe for you to do so. Do not push yourself or do anything that causes pain. We are not liable for any injuries acquired during this class.


Julie Peters (E-RYT 500) is the co-owner of Ocean and Crow Yoga Studio and has been teaching for over a decade. She is trained in Hatha, Restorative, Yin, trauma-sensitive yoga, pre-and post-natal. She offers a gentle pace with lots of modifications so you can get what you need from this class.
